UK Women’s Match to be the highlight of VI Cricket Day on 3rd June

27th May 2016

A VI cricket day will be held at Lambrook School, near Ascot on Friday 3rd June, where the main event will be an international blind cricket match between the UK Women’s VI team and the Manpower Group senior executives and clients.

The women’s squad will train in the morning and this will be followed by a presentation with short speeches by the women’s captain Lois Turner, England international Hassan Khan and the Manpower UK MD Chris Gray, among others.

However, the day isn't just about cricket. It is also an opportunity for all visually impaired people to take advice on putting together a CV, interview skills and more widely, making connections in the employment world.

This event is open to all visually impaired people and the venue is a short taxi ride from either Ascot or Bracknell railway stations.

Light refreshments will be provided.
