BBS Cup Final returns to The Cradle Of Cricket

23rd August 2017

Warwickshire Bears are set to defend the BBS Primary Club Heindrich Swanepoel Memorial cup as they face Sussex Sharks in the 2017 Cup Final at the historic BroadHalfPenny Down ground in Hampshire on Saturday 26th August.

Warwickshire have won the cup five of the past seven seasons with the only exceptions being Sussex’s victories in 2010 and 2014, so this is set to be a high quality and very competitive final.

BroadHalfPenny Down previously hosted the second closest final in the history of the competition when Warwickshire hung on to defend a record breaking 260/5 that included a cup final record 150 not out from Justin Hollingsworth, winning by just two runs against London Metro.

The game starts at 1pm and spectators are welcome to attend, no tickets are required and entry to the ground is free for this match.
